The Balanced Body IV Experience
More than an IV. A thoughtfully guided recovery experience.
Personalized IV nutrient therapy with a complimentary NeuralChek heart-rate-variability snapshot for new IV patients, optional BrainTap relaxation during your infusion, and MAH ozone available for clinically appropriate patients.
Services are provided in Sugar Land, Texas under the supervision of Julia R. Ward, MD. Medical screening is required, and not every service is appropriate for every patient.
The Balanced Body Difference
A more considered approach to IV care
Most IV menus begin and end with a bag of nutrients. At Balanced Body, we look at the wider picture: your history, medications, goals, individual needs, and how you experience the visit itself.
This is not a one-size-fits-all drip bar. It is a physician-guided experience built around thoughtful selection, safety and comfort, with optional HRV measurement, BrainTap relaxation and, when medically appropriate, MAH ozone before your nutritional IV.
The Experience
Measure. Prime. Nourish. Unwind.
Four thoughtful elements, brought together in one calm, clinically guided experience.
Measure
Every new IV patient receives a complimentary NeuralChek assessment.
NeuralChek measures heart rate variability, or HRV. It provides a brief snapshot that can help inform a conversation about stress and recovery. HRV is affected by sleep, hydration, illness, medication and recent activity; it is not a diagnosis.
Prime
Medically cleared patients may add Major Autohemotherapy, or MAH, before their nutritional IV.
A measured amount of blood is withdrawn into a specialized sterile system, exposed to a controlled medical oxygen-ozone mixture and returned to you. MAH is optional, and evidence for its clinical benefits remains limited and evolving.
Nourish
Your IV is selected according to your history, medications, laboratory findings when applicable, and personal goals.
Your clinician may adjust ingredients or recommend a different option. More is not always better; the most appropriate formula is the one that fits you.
Unwind
BrainTap is available at no additional charge during nutritional IV visits.
It combines guided audio with pulsing light to create an immersive relaxation experience. Participation is optional, and patients with seizures, blackouts, photosensitivity, brain injury or related concerns should speak with the clinical team before use.

Cellular Prime brings the complete Balanced Body experience together in one visit: Measure. Prime. Nourish. Unwind.
MAH is performed before an eligible nutritional IV for patients who have completed the required screening and have been medically cleared.

Structured Options
Choose one visit or create consistency
Packages provide structure and preferred pricing. They do not guarantee a particular outcome, and every visit remains subject to clinical appropriateness.

Four structured visits
$999
- Four MAH treatments
- Four nutritional IVs, with choices included up to $199
- BrainTap available during every IV
- NeuralChek at the first and fourth visit
- Medical oversight throughout the series
The two $219 IV formulas may be selected for an additional $20 per visit. Complete the series within 12 weeks. Non-transferable. Physician-directed high-dose vitamin C is not included.
Standalone MAH
Flexible treatment options
A G6PD blood test and medical review are required before systemic ozone therapy. Additional screening may be needed based on your health history.
Your Visit
Comfortable, calm and medically guided
This is medical care, not a menu-only transaction. Screening, ingredient selection and monitoring are part of the experience.
Before
Prepare
Complete the requested medical forms and provide an accurate list of medications, supplements, allergies and health conditions.
Eat a normal meal, drink water and wear clothing that allows comfortable access above the elbow. We will let you know if laboratory testing is required.
During
Settle in
A nutritional IV commonly takes approximately 45–90 minutes. Adding MAH will make the total visit longer.
You may choose BrainTap, listen to your own audio, read or simply rest. Tell the clinical team immediately if you experience burning, stinging, aching, nausea, dizziness or other discomfort.
After
Follow your plan
Follow the instructions provided by your care team. Mild bruising at the IV site can occur.
Contact the clinic if you experience persistent pain, redness, swelling or other concerning symptoms.
Physician-directed high-dose vitamin C: Available doses and pricing are determined after medical review. Documented CBC, G6PD and appropriate renal-risk screening must be completed and reviewed before treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
A few things to know before you begin
Can anyone receive an IV or MAH?
No. Every treatment requires appropriate screening. Health conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, kidney or cardiac concerns and laboratory findings may change what is appropriate for you.
What does NeuralChek diagnose?
NeuralChek provides an HRV measurement. It does not diagnose autonomic dysfunction, stress-related disease or any other medical condition.
Is BrainTap required?
No. BrainTap is complimentary and entirely optional. Tell the care team if you have a history of seizures or blackouts, a family history of seizures, sensitivity to flashing light, brain injury, or another concern that may make light-based stimulation unsuitable.
Do I need laboratory testing?
Requirements depend on the treatment. G6PD testing is required before MAH and high-dose vitamin C. High-dose vitamin C also requires CBC and additional physician-directed screening.
Is ozone therapy FDA-approved to treat disease?
Ozone therapy is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Evidence for MAH remains limited and continues to evolve. Balanced Body does not guarantee outcomes and offers MAH only after individualized medical review.
Do treatment packages guarantee better results?
No. Packages provide structure and preferred pricing, not guaranteed outcomes. Treatment may be modified or discontinued if it is no longer clinically appropriate.
